I've studied the classics, sat with masters, trained in China's hospitals and in remote caves in the mountains. Book knowledge is important; so is lineage. But at some point the page closes, and life opens, and life doesn't care what the book said.

So I won't teach from the sidelines. If I teach it, I've bled for it first.
